Can you feel that invisible tug calling you to splash? Once, it was a great ocean to your tiny feet. Look how big you are now! Go on ... step in ... the water is fine.
one time in Tampa it suddenly rained (normal) but we were all @ a flag football game so we started mud sliding in the big puddles. It was amazing. Probably in my top 5 most fun moments.
Yes, apologies for the absence. Ug got into the holiday spirit, and failed to blog for a while. But, he is still around and will be posting as much as he is able. :)
Splashing in a rain puddle is something that adults too often forget the joy of...so they steer their little ones clear of them instead of letting them enjoy a little wet fun!
Ug is a bit of wit and wisdom. Each day he shares his unique point of view on the world to help guide the little hands that hold him.
PLAGIARISM DENIED

Thieves, we will find you. Ug has little stuffed animal spies in homes across the globe. HE WILL KNOW.
(And the guilt of your thievery will haunt you every time you think of that beloved teddy bear you held as a child.)
A Note from Momma Bear
My Dearest Baby,
You are the light I see every morning when I wake. You are the honey that makes all my gray skies golden.
When your little steps follow mine, I feel so small. I want to pick the whole world up, and place it in your hands. All I have for you is this little bear with his little thoughts.
I hope he helps you grow. I hope he makes you laugh. I hope he lets you see the world upside-down and sideways.
Someday, when you are tall as you can reach, and happy as you can be, I bet together we can pick the whole world up.

ReplyDeleteNice. Your lack of posts lately is most upsetting.
